As most internet users should be aware of, internet browsing is a very private matter and should be done within secure facilities in order to ensure that the internet user’s data is not at risk of being stolen at all.

In today’s time, there are many types of different private browsing and internet data security software available. Some may be free of charge whereas others may have costs varying from low to very high prices. Moreover, private browsing software and security systems for internet using individuals and businesses all come with different features, some of which may appeal to certain users.

Some private browsers such as the UR browser may be favored by a large number of users due to its extensive features such as a built-in virtual private network (VPN) and the option of using other search engines.

In order to help users gain more knowledge on private browsing systems and which features to look for, we have compiled a list of some of the popular private browsing software used around the world.

DuckDuckGo Privacy Company

The DuckDuckGo private search software and internet security system was created in 2008 and includes the options of completely private browsing as well as has no ads that may disturb the internet user or company. Unlike the UR browser, however, the private search DuckDuckGo does not offer a browser nor a built-in virtual private network, so the user may have to separately download and install it for increased coverage and privacy.

E-Capsule Private Browser

Similar to other private browsing software, the e-Capsule™ browsing system ensures that users will have complete anonymity when browsing the internet and users will be protected from any types of viruses and spyware. Moreover, this system includes a 14-day free trial period, after which the user must buy a package including all the facilities provided.

However, this internet privacy browsing system requires a password from all users when they open certain websites, unlike other browsers such as the UR browser, which do not require any sorts of details.

Kaspersky Internet Protection

Found in 1997, Russia, the Kaspersky Lab is formally known as a cybersecurity company and an anti-virus provider. Private browsing Kaspersky enables its users to block certain websites which attempt to collect information about the users for marketing or other purposes.

Private Browser for Ubuntu

Although not a private browsing software, Ubuntu is an operating system made for cloud computing. Ubuntu does not store or share any personal information about the user unless it is needed for service reasons.

As this is an operating system, there are some different private browsing systems that can be downloaded and installed in order to ensure maximum privacy. Some of these may include Firefox, Opera and, Vivaldi.

MacOS High Sierra

Just like Ubuntu, High Sierra is also an operating system released by macOS. It was released just a couple years ago in September 2017. Many users are concerned with private browsing on High Sierra, this may be due to the fact that operating systems are not specifically designed to protect user information and provide complete internet security. Therefore, many internet users and businesses look for private browsing software.

Jungle Private Browser

Another private internet search browser that allows the individual or business users to browse through the internet without the fear of their personal information and data being stolen and/or shared with other parties for marketing and other various reasons. This private internet browser is available on both iOS and Android.

Vivaldi

This well-known internet browsing software was released to the public back in 2016. According to its website, private browsing Vivaldi does not track its users, keeps user information private and, allows the users to choose between various search engines.

One thing to note, however, is that the options of privacy, not tracking and private search engines are only enabled when the “Private Window” is chosen by the internet user. Thus, if the user is browsing the internet in a normal or non-private window, these features may not be usable and the user’s data may have the potential of being seen by third parties.

Private Browser Veil

This private internet browsing software was researched and created by researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and is known to be a software for internet users who are extra paranoid regarding their data and personal information. The Veil private browsing software goes above and beyond in terms of privacy by hiding the user’s page from not only third parties but also its own operating system.

However, it is said by that even after such privacy and security measures, the device being used at the time is still left with a minimal trace of history.

Opera Browser

This web browser is available for use on Android, iOS, Mac OS, Linux and, Microsoft Windows and was introduced to the public in 1995. The Opera browsing software has the options of incognito mode to hide a user’s search history just like many other web browsers available in the cyber world.

As far as Opera’s own privacy policy and terms are concerned, it does ask for an email address or some kind of social media account when a user creates a profile in order to use Opera. It also has access to the user’s location to which some specific ads may be targeted.

Opera does have a built-in proxy service, similar to a virtual private network service, that states it does not log any information that may be related to or involve the user’s browsing activity. Although, proxy connections are not all always secured, nor do they protect the full computer traffic, as UR browser does. Opera also checks specific websites before allowing the user to access them in order to prevent any chances of fraud and /or scams.

Private Browser Keepsolid

Developed and released in 2013, Keepsolid not only has a private browser but also two forms of virtual private networks. One is an unlimited virtual private network which uses powerful encryption technology and an unlimited internet connection. It also offers the VPN Lite which is simply a lighter version that takes up less space.

The Keepsolid software is available on Microsoft Windows, Apple, Android and, Linux.
